Faith, Failure, and the Comeback: A Consultant’s Testimony

There’s something no one tells you about starting a business, especially one rooted in purpose and faith: you will indeed be tested. Not just in your skills, not just in your budget, but in your belief.

I’ve faced moments in this journey where quitting felt more logical than praying. Times when contracts fell through, clients ghosted, and my confidence was so low I couldn’t even write an invoice without second-guessing myself. Times when I asked God, “Did You really call me to this, or was that just me being optimistic?”
It’s easy to post the wins. The polished logo mockups, the empowering client sessions, the motivational quotes. But I want to share the valleys, because that’s where the comeback begins.
Okay so boom,
The Breaking Point
There was a season; I won’t pretend it was years ago, it was more recent than I’d like to admit—when it felt like everything I’d built was unraveling. Contracts dried up, and my inbox was quiet. I had given so much of myself to others, helping them build their brands, gain clarity, and find their voice, that I looked up and couldn’t find mine.
I was tired. Spiritually, emotionally, even creatively.
So, I did the only thing I knew to do when everything in the natural was screaming “failure”, I got quiet with God.
What God Spoke in the Silence
In prayer, I heard something so simple it broke me open:
“You were never building this alone.”
And that truth hit deep. I had slipped into striving, not flowing. Hustling, not trusting. Measuring my success by dollars instead of divine alignment.
I forgot that I’m not just a consultant I’m a vessel. This business was never just about business. It was about healing, strategy, voice, and identity for me and for those I serve.
The Comeback
That low moment became the launching pad for something greater. I restructured my offerings. I created space for rest and reconnection. I began showing up not just as a service provider, but as a woman on assignment.
And wouldn’t you know it? Doors opened. Clients returned. Referrals came in. But more importantly, clarity came back.
Now, when I sit across from a client—whether they’re starting a business, designing a logo, or just trying to figure out what’s next—I bring more than expertise.
I bring empathy. I bring strategy wrapped in spirituality. I bring evidence that failure isn’t final.
I know you're asking by now.....
"Why Am I Sharing This?"
Because maybe you’re in that place. Maybe you’re questioning your calling. Maybe the invoices aren’t paid, the vision board feels outdated, or the applause is gone.
I want you to understand this and read it slow:
You are not failing. You’re being recalibrated.
You are not behind. You are being refined.
Let God meet you in the quiet. Let the comeback be built on something deeper than momentum—let it be built on faith.
Sweetheart,
You’ve got this. More importantly, He’s got you.
If this resonated with you, or if you’re in a season where you need guidance—whether in your brand, your business, or your belief—I’m here. Let’s rebuild together.
